In his dedication to a special issue of the China Today magazine’s Arabic edition, Xi noted that over the past 60 years China and Egypt have maintained sound and steady development of bilateral relations and "set a model for China-Arab and China-Africa relations as well as for South-South cooperation."

在他為今日中國雜志阿語版所寫的專欄中，習(xí)主席提到在過去的60年里，中國和埃及一直持續(xù)穩(wěn)健地發(fā)展雙邊關(guān)系，并且“為中阿及中非關(guān)系以及南南合作樹立榜樣”。

Since ancient times, the people of China and Egypt, both among the world’s oldest civilizations, have carried out friendly exchanges and promoted mutual understanding through the land and maritime Silk Roads, Xi noted, recalling that Egypt was the first Arab and African nation to establish diplomatic ties with the People’s Republic of China.

中國和埃及都是世界最古老的文明發(fā)源地，自古中國人民就和埃及人民有著友好往來，并且通過陸上和水上絲綢之路建立了互信關(guān)系。習(xí)主席提到，回憶起來，埃及還是第一個(gè)與中華人民共和國建立外交關(guān)系的阿拉伯及非洲國家。

Noting that the two sides agreed in 2014 to build a comprehensive strategic partnership, Xi emphasized that China always treats and promotes its relationship with Egypt from a strategic and long-term perspective.

在提到2014年雙方同意建立全面戰(zhàn)略伙伴關(guān)系，習(xí)主席強(qiáng)調(diào)中國將一直從戰(zhàn)略長遠(yuǎn)角度看待并發(fā)展同埃及的關(guān)系。

"We are ready to work with the Egyptian side to carry forward our traditional friendship, learn from each other, and deepen our practical cooperation in various fields under the Belt and Road Initiative, so as to let our people share development benefits and enjoy a better life," Xi added.

習(xí)主席補(bǔ)充道：“我們已經(jīng)準(zhǔn)備好同埃方一同進(jìn)一步發(fā)展我們的戰(zhàn)略伙伴關(guān)系，互相學(xué)習(xí)，在一帶一路戰(zhàn)略下深化我們多領(lǐng)域的實(shí)際合作，以此讓我們的人民共享發(fā)展帶來的好處并過上更好的生活?！?span id="jxfbjvrd" class="style52">

The special issue was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Egypt, and released in Cairo on Wednesday before Xi arrives for a state visit to the Arab country.

為紀(jì)念中阿建交60周年而制作的特刊于周三開始在開羅發(fā)行，趕在了習(xí)主席到阿拉伯國家進(jìn)行國事訪問之前。

Xi’s Egyptian counterpart, President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, also offered a dedication to the magazine, in which he extended his warm welcome for Xi’s visit.

埃及總統(tǒng)阿卜杜勒也為雜志寫了專文，在文中表達(dá)了對習(xí)主席到訪的熱烈歡迎。

"Egypt treasures its close ties with China," he wrote in the message, expressing the hope that bilateral relations will enjoy continuous and sound development in various fields.

他在文中寫道“埃及非常重視同中國的親密關(guān)系，”表達(dá)出他希望雙邊關(guān)系將在多領(lǐng)域持續(xù)穩(wěn)定發(fā)展。

Cairo will actively respond to Xi’s call for reviving the Silk Roads, and welcomes more Chinese investment in its building of a “new Egypt," added the president.

開羅方面將會(huì)積極響應(yīng)習(xí)主席一帶一路的倡導(dǎo)，重啟一帶一路戰(zhàn)略，總統(tǒng)還補(bǔ)充道，歡迎更多中國投資加入“新埃及”的建設(shè)中。

Egypt will work with China to achieve common interests and future development, which will also benefit the entire humanity, al-Sisi wrote.

埃及將會(huì)和中國一道努力取得共同利益和將來的發(fā)展，這也將會(huì)對全人類有益。阿卜杜勒寫道。

The Arab edition of China Today has been published by China International Publishing Group since 1964. It is the only Arab-language comprehensive monthly magazine in China.

今日中國雜志阿語版自1964年起就一直由中國國際出版集團(tuán)進(jìn)行發(fā)行。這是中國唯一的阿拉伯語綜合性月刊。
